What is Manual Cell Stimulation?
Manual Cell Stimulation (MCS) at the Optima Centre is a healing process whereby chronic pain is reversed! MCS enhances the body’s natural healing ability by releasing trapped nerves. This then encourages new cell growth in bone, nerve, muscular, vascular tissue and boosts neuron formation.
MCS is a ground-breaking technique developed over the past 23 years and is a highly effective treatment applied without the usual invasive surgery. It’s a light hands-on treatment without any physical manipulation and is effective in treating osteoarthritis, structural damage, digestive issues, fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy, shoulder impingement syndrome, neurological pain, and neuropathies.
Anette Lordan, founder of the Optima Center has found MCS as a very effective means of treating all sites of the body that may be harbouring old damage that causes weakness and/or pain. The practitioner, by means of a soft touch, creates a magnetic energy field and activates the nerves in the client’s nailbed. These nerves link with the DNA, the body’s blue print, and send out pulses of different frequencies that immediately begin to repair or dissolve blockages in the various tissues of the body. Thus, the body starts to create brand new cells in nerve, bone, muscle or blood vessels, boosts neuron formation and can ultimately repair the entire vascular and neural network in the body. The pulses are felt by both the practitioner and the client and is a very exciting experience.

For the last few years, I have lived with considerable pain in my body. This got progressively worse. Starting with my shoulders and neck, it moved to my lower back and then to my feet and I had to wear specialised shoes. It was exhausting trying to cope with the pain, relationships, everyday life and work.
My search for pain relief was unending. In the process, I was due to see a neurologist for an MRI scan to see what can be done. It was such an effort just to get out of the car into his rooms and I just sat there and cried. I was feeling quite desperate at this stage. Besides the pain, also the horror of having a condition that was getting worse all the time, it was overwhelming. I felt unattractive having to wear specialised shoes, which made even my lovely clothes more awful.
As I was moving to the USA, I started intensive treatment with Anette at Optima Centre as I wanted and needed relief as soon as possible. I had about 40 hours of MCS treatment in a month’s time. The pain got progressively less and less and eventually disappeared. I was again able to walk up straight and wear normal shoes. I felt and looked good.
After treatment, I went for X-rays and before I left, I gave them to Anette as proof and a thank you gift for removing the debilitating pain.

In September 2020,my daughter had problems with her hands. Swelling, wrist pain and unable to use her hands at all. This was her matric year and devastating as doctors diagnosed her with carpal tunnel syndrome. She had the corticosteroids injections, but it didn’t help at all. In my absence at work, the owner of Optima Centre asked my colleague about my absence and this day, was life changing. So started my daughters life changing journey with Anette Lordan. I had never heard of MCS before, but everything inside of me pushed me to try this. My daughter had been through hell, her body tired and fragile and her spirit broken with no answers. Treatment after treatment her body became stronger and she started healing,from the inside out while I was crumbling under pressure of an extremely stressful personal life and working environment. What I’ve learnt is that health problems have a root, and treating symptoms is not what what the Optima Centre is about. It’s about getting to the core of the problem and working from there. This has been a roller coaster ride, filled with enormous obstacles. We have overcome and now have coping skills that will benefit us through out our lives. My name is Lakia and I am a 17-year-old matriculant, diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both of my hands and after attending namely three different medical professionals, all with the conclusion of possibly having to go for surgery, I no longer had an ounce of optimism left in, but that was quickly restored again.
On the 11th of September, I had my first treatment at the Optima Clinic. Two days prior to that my mother was informed about Anette and the MCS treatment. I remember being in distress and filled with apprehension that morning and convinced that nothing is going to work. I call it “the fear of the unknown” because as humans we are inclined to think negatively about something we have no insight on nor an understanding. Fortunately for me, after my first treatment I understood that it is something very scientific, not in a way of treating the symptoms instead, helping the body heal itself as we have the cure right within it. After the first treatment, I was already able to feel the changes that has occurred and that included the physical result, like the evident dry bone excretion and the emotional result, like me being much more optimistic and that was the pattern after each treatment, the physical and emotional result was evident and my pain decreased rapidly with the assistance of Anette changing my diet, and going the extra mile by providing me with organic vegetables and recipes to strengthen my body and immune system.

Examples of conditions treated successfully
Peripheral Neuropathy
Peripheral Neuropathy usually presents with weakness, numbness and pain, that is usually worse in the extremities like the hands and feet. It can also affect circulation and digestion.
MCS has enjoyed excellent results in reversing chronic pain caused by peripheral neuropathy by addressing the impinged or damaged nerves that are at the root of this condition. Once the nerves have been repaired and strengthened, the cause of the pain is removed.
Neurological or Neuropathic Pain
A nerve or part of the nervous system can suffer physical damage due to injury, disease, even an amputation or prolonged compression between collapsing spinal disks. This damage then results in severe and chronic pain and, in some cases, the nervous system’s pain sensors are no longer able to properly recognize the pain you feel. Some common neurological pain syndromes include diabetic neuropathy, shingles or a pinched nerve.

Shingles (herpes zoster)
Many people who suffer with shingles have described it as the worst pain they’ve ever experienced. The rash may feel as if it is constantly burning, and your entire central nervous system may feel like its on fire. This constant pain leads to extreme exhaustion and adversely affects your quality of life.
Shingles is a reactivation of the chickenpox virus in the body, causing a painful, blistering rash. It is also commonly associated with a weakened immune system and causes extreme, long-term tiredness.
Manual Cell Stimulation addresses the root cause of why a particular area is prone to shingles attack, whether it’s old bone damage or a damaged vascular system, and does a complete repair. Anette Lordan began studying Chinese Meridian Massage; a combination of Acupressure and Reflexology under the direction of two distinguished Chinese PhD’s within South Africa. Last year I suffered badly every month with a UTI bladder infection.
